RozanMizrahi was appointed to the position of Head Coach for Girls Varsity Softball in the Spring of 2014, reintegrating the squad into the Athletic pantheon at Flatbush after a nearly ten year hiatus. Softball has always been a passion of Mizrahi’s, as she has played since childhood and throughout HS, and she continues to play in both spring and summer leagues at the Jersey Shore.
In addition to coaching softball, Mizrahi serves as Head Coach for Girls Basketball, a position she took over at the start of the 2013-14 season after serving as an assistant coach for the Falcons for 8 seasons. A member of the YoF Class of 2005, Mizrahi joined the staff as an assistant coach for the girls junior varsity basketball team the following year.  Since that time, she has added the role of Head Coach for the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Middle Division girls basketball teams, and had been a part of three conference championships as well as several division championships at the JV and Varsity level.
After graduating from Flatbush in 2005, Mizrahi attended Monmouth University where she earned her B.A. in Psychology and then Hunter College’s School of Social Work (she graduated as LMSW specializing in children, youth and families). She has worked as a school social worker, camp programs director and youth group coordinator.  Currently, Mizrahi is a Physical Education teacher at Bnos Malka Academy in Queens, NY.
